Our Pediatric Dentist’s Story Waterford

Dr. Joe met Meagan on the Fourth of July on Lake Erie. He was finishing up his last year of dental school at LECOM when the two started dating.

The couple fell in love and Dr. Joe proposed to Meagan on the lake where they met. One year later, they were married and had their fairy tale wedding.

They were blessed with expecting their first baby in April of 2024. Over the moon with excitement Dr. Joe and Meagan prepared for nine months for the arrival of their baby boy, Samson Shine.

Everything was going according to plan and they could not wait to meet their baby boy. As most tragedies happen unexpectedly, Meagan and Dr. Joe are no exception to the hardships of life. Meagan suffered a severe pregnancy complication late third trimester and Samson Shine was born into heaven March 24th, 2024.

Dr. Joe and Meagan dedicate their pediatric dental office to their son, Samson, naming it “Son Shine” as tribute.

Although he wasn’t here for long, Samson brought them insurmountable love and joy to last a lifetime. He was truly a ray of sunshine in their lives and will continue to shine through them. While helping the children in our community here in Waterford, Dr. Joe promises to give your child the same care and love he has for Samson. Every child deserves to have a smile that shines!
